Scrimshawed whale tooth

4" scrimshaw whale tooth.  Standing woman with full gown.  Bottom of tooth makes up the bottom of the gown in the scrimshaw etching.  Other side of the tooth has a wreath with whale and whaling utensils.  Above the wreath is an upside down heart with barrels and tubs inside.  ANTIQUE.  Purchased by donor from a collector in New Jersey.  Artist unknown.
