Pōhaku was used for different purposes including; sport, a part of fishing apparatus, general tool for carving, sanding, sharpening, filing, as part of religious purposes, use for daily life work and weapons.
Description: 

Porous Volcanic Rock. Diameter: 5 inches, Thickness: 1 3/8 inches (approx.), Circumference: 16 1/4 inches, Color: Light Grey, Weight: 1 lb. 6.6 oz. This rock is nearly perfectly circular and very flat. Its real use is not known but it could very possibly been used for an ulumaika stone.
