Pōhaku (stone)

Summary: 
Oblong stone. Pōhaku was used for different purposes including; sport, a part of fishing apparatus, general tool for carving, sanding, sharpening, filing, as part of religious purposes, use for daily life work and weapons.
Description: 

Pestle. Length: 7 1/4 inches, Circumference: 10 3/4 inches, Color: Dark speckled Grey, stained with red substance mostly on one end, Texture and Finish: Smooth and nonporous, Weight: 4 lb. 9.8 oz. For use of pestle see item 63-001-214. It is not conclusive that this rock was actually a pestle. It could have been Phallic Emblem or some other ceremonial rock.
